Description
Rio Field 20 gauge shotshells load 1 oz of 8 lead shot behind a 2-3/4 dram equivalent charge. Rio built them for upland game birds and small game hunting. At 1250 fps this game load throws dense patterns on dove and quail so your pellets land where you point.
The 20 gauge platform carries noticeably less recoil than a 12 gauge keeping youth shooters and smaller-framed hunters comfortable through a long day of walking fields and busting brush. Lighter kick also helps you keep your eye on the bird and stay steady for a quick follow-up shot.
8 lead shot is a proven upland game load that gives you a high pellet count per ounce. It’s designed to fill out a uniform pattern that puts plenty of shot on doves quail and other small game birds. Density matters most at ranges where upland birds typically flush so this 20-gauge shotshell gives you a wider margin on a quick target.
When the season winds down the same shell can handle clay targets whether you shoot skeet or sporting clays. The plastic hull feeds and ejects reliably and the 2-3/4-inch shell length is listed clearly in the specifications below.
Each case includes 10 boxes for 250 rounds total a useful quantity for hunters and clay shooters who want to stock up.
