Description
The Norma A-Strike Subsonic is a 9mm Luger competition load built around a heavy 158-grain Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) flat-nose bullet engineered to run reliably below the sound barrier at a muzzle velocity of 838 fps. A projectile that?s heavier than standard and a controlled 838 fps velocity drops this load into subsonic territory. The product is a soft predictable recoil impulse that helps you stay on the sights and get back on target faster. For competitors chasing the A-Zone and shooters who spend serious time behind a suppressor that combination of low muzzle rise and repeatable accuracy is exactly the edge Norma set out to deliver.
Every round pairs Norma’s optimized subsonic load with a flat-nose TMJ projectile that carries 246 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. Norma positions the load for smooth controlled performance in compatible 9mm Luger pistols. Because the bullet is a TMJ the lead core is fully encased and provides cleaner cycling and less exposed lead. This can be a real advantage during long high-volume range sessions. The flat-nose profile is tuned to fly stable and print consistent groups on paper making this a natural fit for USPSA IDPA steel and dedicated target practice where rhythm and repeatability matter more than raw speed.
The A-Strike Subsonic is loaded in reloadable brass cases with Boxer primers so handloaders can save their spent brass for another life on the bench. Rounds ship 50 to a box with 20 boxes making the full 1000-round case a practical package for shooters who train and compete often and want consistent performance on hand. This is factory-new 9mm Luger ammunition.
