Description
Rio Game Load Blue Steel shotshells give you a lead-free 12 gauge load built for waterfowl and game birds where non-toxic shot is required. Each 2-3/4″ shell pushes 1-1/8 oz of 6 steel shot at 1360 fps. That flat-shooting speed reaches out to passing ducks and upland birds without asking you to lead them a country mile.
The shot is 100% steel which keeps this load non-toxic and legal across the waterfowl areas that ban lead. Rio builds these rounds on a plastic hull with a max dram equivalent charge. That charge is what drives the 1360 fps velocity carrying energy downrange for clean hits on the wing.
The 6 shot size gives you a dense pattern with a high pellet count. It is a practical size for ducks over decoys and for mixed-bag upland days when you want plenty of shot in the air. Shot-to-shot consistency stays steady so what you learn about the pattern on your first box holds true through the season.
This 2-3/4″ load is intended for compatible 12 gauge shotguns. The all-steel payload makes them a simple pick for public lands and refuges that require non-toxic shot. Many state and federal waterfowl areas mandate lead-free loads and this Rio steel shot meets that requirement out of the box.
The load is packaged 25 rounds per box. Retailer item number ROGLBS326 makes it easy to reorder the same load next time.
